What to Bring
Come empty-handed — everything is provided
Kimono or yukata, obi, sandals, undergarments and all the cords needed for dressing.
Nothing in particular. A small bag for going out is handy.
Front-opening clothes are easiest to change out of after your hair is styled.
We keep it at the shop until you return.

Held around Kokura Castle and Katsuyama Park, about 12 minutes on foot.
Held across the city centre. Walk there straight after dressing.

Questions we are often asked
- QCan I come without a reservation?
- AYes, walk-ins and same-day bookings are welcome. Festival days get busy, so calling ahead (093-280-1079) is safest.
- QBy when do I need to return the yukata?
- ABy closing time on the same day. Next-day return can be arranged on request.
- QCan you dress me in my own yukata?
- AYes. We offer a dressing-only plan.
- QCan I book hair styling alone?
- AYes. Our hair salon Selfish Beauty in Sakaimachi also takes these bookings.
- QDo you have yukata for children?
- AIt depends on the size, so please contact us in advance.
- QWhat happens if it rains?
- AYou can still wear it. We do not charge extra if it gets dirty.
- QDo you have yukata for men?
- AYes. Couples and families are very welcome.
- QWhat is your cancellation policy?
- ANo fee if you let us know by the day before.
Access
A short walk from Kokura and Tanga stations
Leave the ticket gate and head toward Heiwa-dori. We are on the 2nd floor of the Monatorie building.
Walk straight through the Uomachi shopping arcade, just before Tanga Market.
You can walk there in your kimono and take photos.
Step straight out into one of Kokura's most photogenic streets.
