Questions we are often asked
- QWhen should I book?
- AGraduation season is busy, so two to three months ahead is safest.
- QCan I rent the hakama only?
- AYes. We will help you choose one to go with your own kimono.
- QBoots or zori?
- AEither. It depends on the venue and how far you will walk — ask us.
- QFrom what time can you dress me?
- AFrom 8:00 in the morning.
Access
A short walk from Kokura and Tanga stations
Leave the ticket gate and head toward Heiwa-dori. We are on the 2nd floor of the Monatorie building.
Walk straight through the Uomachi shopping arcade, just before Tanga Market.
You can walk there in your kimono and take photos.
Step straight out into one of Kokura's most photogenic streets.
